Course Dates 2007

Working  with Living Willow, a three day course.

Centre for Alternative Technology

31st March - 2nd April 2007

www.cat.org.uk

This course has two tutors, myself and Stephanie Bunn, maker of sculptural  willow fences, gazebos and bowers.

The course starts with an introduction to harvesting and managing a willow  bed, moves on to basic skills, making plant supports and then students  have a choice of making willow chairs in a bentwood style (which can be  taken home) or larger garden structures with Stephanie.

Most students also stay on site so there is a chance to see the interesting displays and browse round the wonderful bookshop.
